USBeings™ are playful social commentary on progressively increasing human reliance on tech and the ensuing human detachment. Their presence invites viewers to consider their relationship to techology, the natural world and their fellow humans. If we keep moving in this direction, with growing dependency on technology and by default not thinking for ourselves, will we (d)evolve to the point where our heads are simply USB ports? The tech is not going to disappear, so we might as well explore this possible future.
