In 2017, I found myself at exciting crossroads. I had sold my house and quietly shut down my architectural practice in order to apply for a position in the Peace Corps. After a near two year application processs I was not offered a position and asked to re-apply. Not wanting to put my life on hold any longer, I asked myself THAT question, "If you could be doing anything you want, what would you do?" I decided to commit myself to the childhood dream of being an artist and embarked on a series of self-portraits in various mediums. I still fall back to self portraits when I am searching for "what's next". It seems logical to frequently look at oneself and ask, "Who are you now?"
