In 2017, I found myself at an exciting crossroads. After taking a brief pause from my architectural practice and selling my home, I applied for the Peace Corps. While the nearly two-year process didn’t lead to a position, it inspired me to explore what I truly wanted to pursue next. I decided to dive into the world of art, which became a vibrant context for much of my work. The self-portraits emerged as a natural starting point during this journey of self-discovery and creativity.
